About Team
You will join the Employee Experience Team, dedicated to empowering our 200 Japan-based employees. As a Talent Operations Specialist, your primary mission is to lead the engineering recruitment strategy—from initial planning to successful execution—to meet an annual hiring goal of 10–20 engineers. Beyond hiring, you will play a key role in optimizing recruitment workflows and elevating our employer brand in the market.
Responsibilities
1. Engineering Recruitment (60%)
Drive recruitment initiatives to achieve an annual target of 10–20 engineering hires.
Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including resume screening, interview coordination, candidate engagement, and offer closing.
Conduct initial interviews in English to ensure all candidates meet our global hiring standards.
Partner with Engineering Managers to develop and execute data-driven hiring strategies.
2. RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) Management
Direct and manage RPO vendors responsible for non-technical hiring (e.g., Sales and Administrative roles).
Monitor vendor performance and provide strategic direction to ensure all hiring targets are met.
3. Talent Branding & Event Planning
Design and implement strategies to strengthen our employer brand and market presence.
Lead the planning and execution of recruitment events, such as technical meetups and seminars.
Enhance our "hiring power" by creating compelling content and managing outreach across various social and professional channels.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Language: Native-level Japanese and Business-level English (capable of conducting interviews).
Experience: 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience.
Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset with a focus on process optimization.
Client Success: Proven ability to prioritize process management and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
Soft Skills: A confident communicator with a proactive, positive, and resilient mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of engineering concepts and technical stacks.
Previous experience in people management or vendor management.
Working Conditions
Work Location: 5 days per week at our Tokyo office.
Flexibility: Flexible working hours (Core time may apply).
