Your Role:
As a Tax Manager, you will be the leader and corporate advisor of global tax matters, overseeing the organization’s worldwide tax strategy. Your main responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough tax analysis to provide expert advice on tax planning and risk mitigation to ensure compliance with global tax regulations, including but not limited to transfer pricing arrangements.
Managing and coordinating with external tax firms to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of global tax filings.
Coordinating and managing tax audits, inquiries, and notices from global tax authorities.
Creating, managing, and maintaining audit-ready documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions, and other tax-related activities.
Documenting and maintaining effective tax internal control processes.
Collaborating with other departments and teams, such as Finance, Legal and Sales Operations, to ensure alignment and coordination on tax matters.
Providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
Proactively staying updated with changes in tax laws and regulations in the United States, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom, France, and India to proactively identify potential risks or opportunities for the organization.
Fostering a culture of tax compliance and awareness throughout the organization, providing training and support as needed.
Ad hoc projects as needed.n Accounting or Finance is required
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of corporate international tax experience from a Big 4 accounting firm and/or a corporate tax department of a multinational company.
Strong analytical, communication, and management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a self-driven environment.
Workday and Avalara experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Working out of the Mountain View office with required days of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Travel Requirements:
10% to possible team offsites
