We are thrilled that Forrester has recognized Treasure Data as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Customer Data Platforms For B2C. It's an honor to be acknowledged for our efforts in advancing the CDP industry with cutting-edge AI and real-time capabilities.

Your Role:
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale our AI Platform across two critical areas: (1) Agent Development Process & Ecosystem and (2) Platform Team (GA).
This role drives the architecture, reliability, and developer experience that enable teams to rapidly build and ship production-grade AI agents and AI-powered features.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Agent Development Process & Ecosystem
Build an end-to-end development lifecycle for agents, including a capability progression model (basic → intermediate → senior → staff-level agents).
Define standards for what should be an agent vs. a workflow, tool, or service.
Build an Agent Marketplace with version control, cataloging, dependency management, and duplication checks.
Establish system health checks, observability, and reliability metrics for agents and agent-to-agent communication protocols.
Define QA for agents, including evaluation frameworks, automated tests, simulation-based checks, and incident criteria.Develop processes for distributing pre-built agents across accounts and teams.
Ensure strong developer experience, enabling teams to quickly build, discover, and reuse agents.
2. Lead the Platform Team (GA)
Serve as the senior leader of the Platform organization, with another Engineering Manager reporting to you and overseeing one of the two Platform sub-teams.
Align both sub-teams on architecture, quality, standards, and execution rhythm.
Own PRDs, ERDs, POCs, and documentation standards—making these processes fast, lightweight, and scalable.
Improve engineering efficiency while maintaining required rigor, shifting the narrative around product readiness from “slow” to “accelerating delivery.”
Enable predictable development with 0–2 week feature lead time.
Establish consistent QA, testing, and evaluation standards for all Platform work.
Deliver strong API documentation and integration pathways so other teams can reliably adopt tool calls and platform capabilities.
Build internal agents (e.g., a GTM Agent) to reduce load on cross-functional teams.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, coach, and develop engineers and an Engineering Manager; define career growth and succession planning across the Platform org.
Partner closely with Product, Research, GTM, and engineering teams to align priorities and deliver high-impact capabilities.
Act as the escalation point for platform reliability, integration issues, and cross-team dependencies.
Required Qualifications:
Experience building large-scale distributed systems or AI platforms.
Engineering management experience
Deep understanding of agent architectures, orchestration, evaluation/QA, and observability.
Strong platform fundamentals: API design, documentation, versioning, incident management, and developer experience.
Ability to drive clarity, momentum, and quality in fast-moving environments.
SASS experience preferred
