Your Role:

This is a great opportunity for someone excited about building enterprise-scale customer engagement and campaign management systems. You'll be working on Treasure Data's Engage Studio platform—an AI-first engagement engine that enables intelligent omnichannel orchestration and personalized customer journeys. Responsibilities:

• Building and enhancing multi-channel campaign management and delivery infrastructure at enterprise scale
•  Designing and implementing event-driven, serverless architectures for customer engagement
• Writing clean, efficient Ruby code (mostly Rails) with a focus on performance and scalability
• Implementing and optimizing delivery pipelines for email, push notifications, SMS, and other communication channels using AWS services
• Working with other engineers, PMs, and designers to design scalable solutions for high-traffic multi-channel delivery systems
• Operating and maintaining production systems including monitoring, alerting, and on-call rotations

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Ruby / Ruby on Rails skills
• Experience with event-driven, serverless architecture design and operations
• Comfortable with AWS or similar cloud setups
• Solid SQL and experience with relational DBs
• Problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking
• Good communicator and team collaborator
• Openness to feedback and continuous learning
• Business-level English

Bonus Experience (Not Required, but great if you have):

• Experience building robust, high-traffic service and high-throughput delivery architectures
• Experience designing and implementing optimal monitoring system operations using tools like Datadog and CloudWatch
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for efficient development
• Experience working with colleagues across different time zones and remote work environments
• Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript
